[AU] dark gonna catch me here
Not two seconds after the door closed, Dean started demanding answers. Sam explained pretty much everything, although he glossed over the part where Wynonna'd threatened to shoot him, and for the most part Dean took it pretty well.
Until he made the suggestion of bringing Wynonna - and Peacemaker - to a crossroads and forcing the demon there to give up Dean's contract.
By the time the fight's over, Sam's certain of two things. First, that Dean's not willing to listen to reason because he doesn't want to risk Sam. And second, that he's not going to let his brother go to hell.
He makes sure Dean thinks he's asleep first, and waits until he hears his brother start snoring... then waits another half hour to make sure. Once he's certain Dean's not faking, Sam sneaks out and borrows the Impala.
There's a crossroads three miles north, an isolated one with an abandoned gas station nearby that he can use to get to the bar.
It'll do.

Hopefully it's not someone else she knows, like Hettie and Mama. "At least this one's not a cannibal. Small favors."

She tips her head back against the wall and rolls it to the side to look at them. "I guess every time an heir came of age, Mama Olive wouldn't be able to control herself anymore."

Dean rolls his eyes, but there’s something fond about the way he shoves at Sam with his shoulder. “That brain of yours never stops, huh, college boy?”

He’ll ask Waverly. Maybe they can come up with something.

“It could go either way. Either it would, because we know it can kill anything, or it wouldn’t do it permanently, because there’s a binding element from the curse that’s linked to the bloodline and would have to be appeased somehow. But if there was a way to extend that…”

Dean nods. “Same for us. Those sons of bitches get tougher the older they are.”

I'm aware!)
"His victims had to seek forgiveness from the people they'd wronged. No forgiveness – "
She mimes a knife slicing across her own throat and makes a choking sound, tongue sticking out.

"Only without the forgiveness part. Just punishment, for people who were guilty over someone's death and keeping secrets about it."

Tick tock, tick tock. Forgiven? Or not? She rubs at the spot on her throat where the barber's knife had rested against her skin. "But he's gone. Bobo's the only one with powers now, that I know of."

She shifts and slips the folded up photo from her back pocket, then unfolds it and slides it across the table to Dean. Six faces are crossed out in red marker. The only ones untouched are one last revenant and her father. "This is the last one."

She watches as they study the photo of the Seven, her father strung up like a hunted animal between them. "Bobo's a different problem. He's been working with the Stone Witch. It's his revs that were doing all the digging for her."
